“Recovery Mechanisms, Prognosis and Treatment using Non-invasive Brain Stimulation following Stroke”

Pablo A. Celnik

Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, USA

Q.Which research field are you interested in now?

Pablo A. Celnik: Together with my team, I started to help people recover the ability to move from stroke, other brain diseases, traumatic brain injuries.

Through our research, we have discovered not only fundamental knowledge about how recover our brain by the rehabilitation, but also the weak brain stimulation by electrical or magnetic devices can improve the performance of our brain.

We are using these knowledge to design new ways to help people who try to recover from diseases like stroke and traumatic brain injuries.
