〈目的〉
第1条：本内規は定款施行細則第15条に基づき，国際委員会（以下 委員会）の運営に関する細則について定める．
〈業務〉
第2条：委員会はリハビリテーション医学･医療の国際交流を図り，国際活動を推進するために，次の業務を行う．
(1) 海外のCorresponding Member及びHonorary Memberの検討
(2) 海外研修制度，海外交換研修制度の検討
(3) 関連国際会議及び海外の学会情報の収集と会員への提供
(4) 国際会議の後援や主催についての検討
(5) その他，委員会が必要と認める事項の検討
〈運営〉
第3条：委員の委嘱，任期，交替，委員長の選出は定款施行細則第4章に基づき行う．
2 委員会の開催は担当理事又は委員長の請求によって開催する．
3 委員会の定足数は委員長も含めた委員現在数の過半数とする．
4 委員会の議長は委員長とする．不在の場合は委員長が指名した委員とする．
5 議題の提出は担当理事，委員長，委員の何れもが行えるものとする．
6 議事は議長を除く出席委員の過半数により決し，可否同数のときは議長の決するところによる．
第4条：担当理事及び委員長が必要と認めた場合，委員以外の者に出席を要請することができる．
第5条：プロジェクト委員会の設置は理事会の承認を得ることとする．
第6条：委員会の報告は，当該委員会の委員，全委員（理事及び監事）及び各種委員会の委員長に行うものとする．
〈附則〉
この内規は，委員長を含む全委員の2/3以上の議決を経たのち，理事会の承認を得て実施する．

Bylaws for Honorary Membership（International) Japanese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine
1. Objective
In order to achieve the objective of Japanese Association of Rehabilitation
Medicine（JARM）from the standpoint of international exchange as set forth
in Article 3 of the Articles of the Association, the Association shall
appoint “Honorary Members” from among overseas medical doctors and researchers
specializing in the field of rehabilitation medicine who have contributed
to the development of the Association as foreign Honorary Members as set
forth in Article 5 of the Articles of the Association and in Article 2
of the Enforcement Regulations of the Articles of the Association.
2. Qualifications
A person eligible to become a Honorary Member shall satisfy the following requirements:
1) The said person must be a person of foreign nationality who is age 65
or over;
2) The said person must be a medical doctor or researcher specializing
in rehabilitation medicine in his or her country;
3) The said person shall have performed notable research and/or produced notable written works in the field of rehabilitation medicine;
4) The said person shall have made a significant contribution to JARM by presenting an invited lecture at a JARM meeting or by sponsoring overseas study of a JARM member; and
5) The said person shall obtain a recommendation from a councilor, officer or honorary member of JARM.
3. Admission
The JARM Committee on International Affairs shall review the achievements and contributions to JARM of the proposed candidate for Honorary Membership and shall report the results to the Chairman of the Board of Governors of JARM. The Chairman of the Board of Governors shall, following deliberations between the Board of Governors and the Council, recommend the candidate and receive the approval of the General Assembly of JARM.
4. Limitation on Number of Honorary Members
The number of Honorary Members shall be no more than 30.
5. Rights of Honorary Members
1) The annual membership fee for JARM shall be waived;
2) Registration fee(s) for domestic and/or international meetings organized
by JARM shall be waived;
3) The Honorary Member shall be able to submit papers to the Japanese Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine and other publications and to make presentations to the above meetings;
4) The Honorary Member shall receive the Japanese Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine and other publications of JARM; and
5) The Honorary Member shall be able to make proposals to JARM in response to a request by the Association.
6. Duties of Honorary Members
Honorary Members shall have the following duties:
1) Honorary Members are requested to promptly notify the secretariat of
JARM of any changes in address for correspondence, and other relevant data
affecting membership.
7. Registration
With the approval of the Honorary Members, the Board of Governors shall publish the names of Honorary Members in the bulletin of the Japanese Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine.
8. Supplement
Following a resolution of two-thirds of the members of the Committee on International Affairs, including the Committee Chairman, the above bylaws shall go into effect upon the approval of the Board of Governors.

1. Objective

3. 海外リハビリテーション医学関連学会への発表もしくは海外リハビリテーション施設への訪問・業績発表に対して年間4名以内を選ぶ．
〈応募資格〉
4. 下記の資格を有する者が応募できる．
1) 45歳以下の本学会会員であること．
2) 海外の学術雑誌にFirst Authorとしてリハビリテーション医学に関する原著論文が1編以上あるか，もしくはリハビリテーション関連の海外の学術集会あるいは国内外の国際学術集会に1回以上の発表の経験があること．
〈助成対象〉
5. 海外リハビリテーション医学関連学会への発表，もしくは海外リハビリテーション施設への訪問・業績発表を助成する．
〈応募方法〉
6. 所定の履歴書，業績目録，代表論文に加え，本学会評議員又は出身教室教授1名の推薦状を本学会国際委員会あてに提出する．また所定の書式にしたがって，学会発表の助成希望者は学会名，開催場所，日程と発表内容を，施設訪問・施設内発表の助成希望者は訪問先と訪問日程および訪問先での発表内容を添付する．
〈選出方法〉
7. 国際委員会が，応募資格の有無，学会・訪問施設の適否，発表内容の価値等を吟味して，書類審査する．選出された候補者は理事会において最終審査の上，決定される．なお，学会発表の助成について，国際委員会の書類審査は発表演題採択通知の如何に関わらず実施可能であるが，理事会の最終審査は採択通知後に行われる．
〈義務〉
8. 研修終了後3カ月以内に，海外研修報告書を国際委員会に提出する．国際委員会はそれを審査の上，本学会関連出版物への掲載を検討する．

1. Objective
In order to achieve the objectives of the Japanese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine (JARM) from the standpoint of international exchange as set forth in Article 3 of the Articles of Association, JARM has established the Exchange Traveling Fellowship, which is one of the goals of the JARM Committee on International Affairs as specified in the Association's bylaws. By this program, qualified foreign physicians will be subsidized for a part of their transportation costs to visit rehabilitation institutions in Japan and/or to make presentations at domestic or international meetings organized by JARM.
2. Subsidy
The amount of the subsidy is from \50,000 to \300,000 per person, depending on the expected transportation cost, which is determined by the JARM Committee on International Affairs. When the total transportation cost, including airfare and accommodation fee, exceeds this amount, participants must pay the excess themselves. The total amount of the fiscal subsidy will not exceed the budget approved by JARM Board of Governors.
3. Qualifications
A candidate for this Fellowship shall satisfy the following requirements:
1) The said person shall be a medical doctor who is engaged in rehabilitation
medicine,
2) The said person shall have one or more original papers related to rehabilitation
medicine published with his or her name as a first author,
3) The said person shall have one or more experiences participating in an international or overseas conference to present a paper, and
4) The said person shall be fluent in either English or Japanese.
4. Application for a Fellowship
Applicants for a Fellowship shall submit the following materials to the
Committee on International Affairs of JARM, 1 -1 -7 Komone, Itabashi, Tokyo
173 -0037, Japan, by the specified deadline:
1) C.V. including e-mail address and/or fax number, a photo, and date of
birth,
2) A list of medical associations or organizations to which the applicant
belongs,
3) A list of published papers and presentations,
4) A copy of a major published article in which the applicant participated as the first author,
5) A letter of recommendation from one of the following: the chairperson of the rehabilitation organization to which the applicant belongs, a JARM Honorary/Corresponding Member, or a JARM Councilor,
6) A letter of approval of the chairperson of the department/institution where the applicant works, and
7) The titles and their abstracts of one or more topics related to rehabilitation medicine that the applicant intends to present and discuss at the institutions and/or JARM-affiliated meetings. When the applicant has already submitted an abstract for presentation at a specific JARM-affiliated meeting, a copy of that abstract form should be attached with the above scripts.
5. Process of Selection
The JARM Committee on International Affairs shall review the qualifications of the applicants and report the results to the Chairperson of the JARM Board of Governors. The Chairperson shall, following deliberations between the Board of Governors and the Committee, select the qualified fellows.
6. Duties of Fellowship Recipients
A Fellowship recipient shall submit the assigned reports to the JARM Committee on International Affairs. The Committee will consider the reports for publication in the Japanese Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine and other JARM publications.

1. 目的
外国人リハビリテーション医の短期交流制度は国際交流を進めるために設けられたものである．この制度は外国人リハビリテーション医が日本のリハビリテーション施設を訪問，もしくは日本リハビリテーション医学会の主催する国内，国際学会で発表する際の旅費の一部を補助するものである．
2. 補助
補助の額は予想される旅費に応じて一人当たり5万円から30万円の範囲とし，日本リハビリテーション医学会国際委員会が決定する．航空運賃，ホテル代などを含んだ旅費の総額がこの額を上回った場合，不足分については参加者の負担となる．参加者への年間の総支出額は理事会が承認した予算を越えない範囲とする．
3. 応募者の資格
この制度の応募者は以下の条件を満たさなければならない．
1) リハビリテーションに携わる医師である
2) リハビリテーション関係の雑誌に筆頭著者である1篇以上の論文掲載がある
3) 国際学会での発表が1篇以上ある
4) 英語もしくは日本語が堪能である

5. 選抜方法
日本リハビリテーション医学会国際委員会は応募者の資格を審査し結果を日本リハビリテーション医学会理事長に報告する．理事会と国際委員会の間で検討し理事長が決定する．
6. 研修参加者の義務
研修参加者は日本リハビリテーション医学会国際委員会に所定の報告書を提出しなければならない．委員会は報告書をリハビリテーション医学雑誌もしくは日本リハビリテーション医学会のその他の刊行物に掲載する．
