The Japanese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine (JARM) is a national medical society founded in 1963, with 9,623 members (as of January, 2006), who are specialists in rehabilitation medicine. JARM is accredited as one of the 95 member societies in the Japanese Association of Medical Sciences (JAMS), and listed as one of 19 societies that have specialty board.
JARM has an administrative organization as illustrated below, which consists of 17 Board Members, 15 Honorary Members, 18 International Honorary/Corresponding Members, and 197 Councilors as of 2005.
